We created a series of type-only posters intended to evoke the feeling, structure, or connotation of jazz for a summer festival. The series started with just a single letter, then word, slogan, sentence, verse, and finally paragraph. With every iteration, the relationships of form, space, and structure became more complex as more elements were added.
