The End of Year Book at CalArts is a core tradition—a reflective archive capturing the evolution of a designer throughout graduate school. The book is structured into four chapters, representing each academic term, with interludes highlighting summer projects. Within each chapter, creative briefs mark the start of new projects, while ongoing work subtly overlaps or occupies secondary spaces, illustrating the fluid, overlapping nature of the creative process. Alongside the student work, the book includes essays on design theory, some republished and others written specifically for this book of reflection.
